Our content
The words, photographs, research and page designs on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to quote a sentence or two with a link back. You are not welcome to republish whole pieces, to reproduce our scorecards or comparison tables elsewhere, or to use our content to train a model, without our written permission.
We are not the seller
We do not sell anything on this site. When you buy a product we have written about, your contract is with the retailer, not with us. Delivery, returns, warranty, faults and customer service are matters between you and them. We cannot cancel an order, honour a price or process a refund.
Prices and availability
Prices on this site are read automatically from retailers and carry the date they were checked. They are a guide, not an offer, and they go out of date. Prices, stock, discounts and delivery terms vary by country and change without notice. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's own page before you buy.
Our recommendations
Our reviews and rankings are opinions, formed from published evidence and our editors' judgement, using the process described in our review methodology. We are a research desk, not a testing laboratory, and we do not claim to have physically tested every product we write about. Use your own judgement alongside ours, read the manufacturer's instructions, and follow them.
Nothing on this site is professional advice. In particular, nothing here is medical, financial, legal or safety advice, and none of it is a substitute for a qualified professional. Where a product relates to your health or your money, speak to someone qualified before you act.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
That does not take anything away from you. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or anywhere else, you keep the full protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your own local courts. Nothing here overrides it.
