Cookie Policy
Every cookie this site sets, and the ones it deliberately does not.
Most sites need a long cookie policy because they carry advertising and analytics trackers. This one does not, so this page is short and specific.
What we set

Both fall within the "strictly necessary" exemption in regulation 6 of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the site cannot provide the pages and forms you asked for without them. That is why this site shows no consent banner: there is nothing on it to consent to.
What we do not set
No analytics cookies. No advertising cookies. No retargeting or audience-building cookies. No social media cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no comparable script anywhere on this site — the content security policy blocks third-party scripts from running at all.
Cookies set by retailers when you click a product link
This is the one place a cookie you did not ask us for can appear. When you click a product link and arrive at a retailer's website, that retailer normally sets a cookie on its own domain so it can credit a resulting sale to us. These typically expire within 30 days.
Those cookies are not ours. We cannot read them, set them or delete them for you. They are governed by the policies of the retailer whose site you are on and of the affiliate network handling their tracking. If you would rather they were not set, block third-party cookies in your browser, or visit the retailer directly instead of using our link. Why those links exist is explained in our affiliate disclosure.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are served by fonts.bunny.net. Your browser fetches those files directly, so that host sees your IP address as part of the request. It sets no cookie and, by its own published policy, does not log visitor data for advertising. We chose it over the more common alternative for exactly that reason.
Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings at any time. If you block the two strictly necessary cookies above you will still be able to read the site, but the contact and newsletter forms will stop working.
