Arhaus' most specific documented strength: a Yelp buyer who has purchased from Arhaus locations in California and New York writes "I am always so pleased with my furniture purchases from Arhaus — we have purchased couches and a kitchen table and chairs. All of our fabric was Crypton. Wine, pasta sauce, ball point pen and more have been spilled on the furniture and it came out easily." A second Yelp buyer from Rochester documents "Shaina was very helpful and patient letting us wander and explore, yet was there if we had any questions." Founded in 1986 in Boston Heights, Ohio, Arhaus works with global artisans to create authentic handcrafted furniture using sustainably sourced materials. The catalog is genuinely beautiful — the in-showroom experience is among the most praised in the US furniture retail sector. The documented 2025–2026 honest caveat is severe: a buyer paid $7,126.92 in full for a couch on November 26, 2025, was promised January 2026 delivery, and per House on the Crescent's review (August 2026) still hadn't received it — with BBB confirming the pattern. A second buyer's "in-stock" chairs weren't delivered 7 months after November 2024 payment.
The Product Quality — The Genuine Case
Arhaus' furniture quality — when it arrives and is correctly assembled — is specifically documented as excellent. The Crypton fabric's performance against real spills (wine, pasta sauce, ballpoint pen) is the most practical quality endorsement in the review base. Artisan handcrafting from global workshops produces pieces with documented provenance that mass-market alternatives can't match. The in-showroom experience confirms the quality visually and tactilely in a way that online shopping can't replicate. The problem is not the product quality — it's the bridge between the showroom and the buyer's living room.
The Delivery Crisis — The 2025–2026 Pattern
The delivery failure documentation across multiple independent platforms (BBB, Reviews.io, PissedConsumer) is the clearest systemic pattern in Arhaus' 2025–2026 buyer experience. Specific features of the documented pattern: items described as "in-stock" that are not shipped for months; four consecutive delivery dates provided and missed; items confirmed as "sitting in the warehouse" but not scheduled for delivery; no proactive communication about delays; and a commission-incentive structure for floor salespeople that creates conflicts of interest in delivery scheduling. This is not a one-location problem or a one-product problem — it's documented across multiple markets, multiple stores, and multiple product categories in 2025–2026.
The Lifetime Guarantee — Policy vs Practice
Arhaus advertises a lifetime guarantee on manufacturing defects. The documented experience: a buyer whose cushion covers came undone on six pieces within a year filed a warranty claim in November 2025 and received no resolution by February 2026 — three months of inaction on what should be a straightforward manufacturing defect claim. The gap between the lifetime guarantee marketing and the documented warranty resolution reality is the brand's most significant consumer protection concern.
The In-Store vs Online Split
Arhaus' most consistent positive documentation comes from in-store buyers who are able to inspect pieces before purchase. The showroom experience is praised, staff are documented as knowledgeable and patient (when they're not commission-incentivised to provide delivery misinformation), and in-store impulse purchases of floor model pieces that can be collected immediately eliminate the delivery problem entirely. For buyers who want Arhaus quality, buy in-store, inspect before purchase, and ask specifically about in-store/local warehouse collection of floor models.
Our verdict
Arhaus Solid Wood Dining Tables and Case Goods (in-store inspection + local warehouse collection)
The most documented quality-consistent Arhaus category. Solid wood construction with lower upholstery risk. Buy during in-person showroom visits with confirmed local warehouse availability.

What Buyers Say
I am always so pleased with my furniture purchases from Arhaus. Wine, pasta sauce, ball point pen — it came out easily. I have purchased couches, and a kitchen table and chairs, and I love all of it.
We ordered mostly 'in stock items' end of April 2026, and as of August 17, many items are still not delivered even though their own team says they are sitting in the warehouse.
Product was paid in full on November 10, 2024. We have been given at least four different dates. We are still waiting for dining chairs seven months later.
I purchased an Arhaus Kipton couch in April 2025. Less than a year later, six cushion covers have come undone. I filed a warranty claim in November 2025. It is now approaching February 2026.
Arhaus communication and customer support is terrible. Their showroom is very good although the staff is often dismissive. Quality good but the billing dispute and customer service were awful.
Is It Worth It?
Yes
Only for in-store purchases of pieces available from local warehouse stock for confirmed short-lead-time delivery, using Crypton fabric. Not worth the risk for custom orders or pieces without confirmed local warehouse availability based on 2025–2026 documented delivery patterns.
Frequently asked
The product quality when received is genuinely documented as excellent — particularly Crypton fabric pieces and solid wood case goods. The quality failure is the delivery and post-sale service, not the product itself.
Based on 2025–2026 documented experiences: "in-stock" items have taken 5–8 months with multiple changed delivery dates. Do not accept delivery date estimates from floor salespeople — confirm from the delivery scheduling team directly.
A manufacturer's defect guarantee across the furniture range. Documented enforcement is slow — a 3-month warranty claim without resolution is confirmed. Keep all documentation and escalate via credit card dispute if necessary.
For buyers who buy in-store, inspect pieces in person, and can collect from a local warehouse or confirm very short delivery windows — yes, the quality justifies the price. For buyers who rely on delivery of custom or non-stocked pieces — the 2025–2026 documentation suggests the delivery system is not reliable enough for the premium price.

The Verdict
Arhaus makes some of the most beautiful and most thoughtfully crafted artisan furniture in the US market — the Crypton fabric performance, the sustainably sourced materials, the genuine global artisan provenance all confirm quality credentials that RH and Pottery Barn charge more for with less documented craft authenticity. The in-showroom experience is specifically excellent. The delivery infrastructure is the brand's most serious documented operational failure. A $7,000+ couch paid in full that hasn't arrived 3 months later, dining chairs delivered 7 months after promised, and items "sitting in the warehouse" not being scheduled for delivery represent a systemic failure that the lifetime guarantee marketing cannot offset. Buy in-store, collect immediately or confirm very short delivery windows, use Crypton fabric for stain resistance, and pay with a credit card that allows disputes for your most important financial protection.
